What time should Black Friday Sales Start? (Opinion Piece)

Black Friday should start on Black Friday, period. Black Friday was created as a single day, so it should be treated as such. All these sales happening on Wednesday and Thursday of Thanksgiving week completely disrupt the point of Black Friday as well as disrupting Thanksgiving plans since people want to be at the stores for the sales. Some stores may argue that expanding it could decrease the massive sales mob, but this won’t happen since most of the mob comes in whenever the store opens, no matter if there had been sales previously or there will be sales continuing.

Surprise second topic! Should Restaurants Do Away With Tipping?

No, just flat out no. This seems like more of a rehash, but it should be said that tips should not be done away with since tips are basically an extra source of income (or the only source of income) for some servers. The wage for these jobs is typically low or already diminished since tips are already accounted for, so taking these away could force servers to have to work more then needed or take several jobs. Tips also encourage going beyond the service that is required and encourage being extra nice and putting in the extra energy to possibly entertain guests.
